Just got back from a weekend on the Las Vegas Strip. My observation was that most if not all the major properties have a lot of CSMs up and running.Also several 6/5 games in operation but there didn't seem to be a noticeable lack of attendees. Could this mean that the days of the card counter are numbered?

The 6 deck and 8 deck games in AC and the Conn Indian casino's may suck. But why fly to Vegas for worse games like CSM's and 6:5 games?

We may suspect some of the small casinos in other states of cheating. But can't be worse than getting paid only 80% of your blackjack winnings at the 6:5 games in Vegas?
Look at roulette. It used to be a lot more popular before they started the double zero nonsense. Now most casinos have removed all but one or two roulette tables and replaced them with slot machines.
It is easy to see why more and more of the net income in casinos is coming from increased rooms rates, increased food charges and cutting the number of employees.
The casinos are focused on the next quarter earnings, forget about five or ten years down the road. But this a problem common to corporate america.
Lot's of overpay MBA's ruining American companies. Next thing they will be outsourcing blackjack jobs overseas to save on money.
Even Paris on LV strip has everything expensively modeled after the city of Paris France, no longer has a French roulette wheel. Go figure!
I think they have already done this. Certainly a much greater % of dealers that cant speak very good english around nowadays. Its turning into a job similar to that of the NYC cabdriver....
