Team play with Red7?
Is it possible in the future to join a team using Advanced Red7 and no TC converson? Im hearing that hilo w/ TC is the bare minimum.

There are many different variations of team play.
Perhaps one of the simplest is a group of individual players who play independently and simply pool bankrolls. This allows each player to bet as if they had the entire bankroll at their disposal.
So, any system can be used. The only thing that makes this type of team difficult is that everyone must have complete confidence in both the competence and integrity of all their fellow team members.
Other teams, using techniques such as the spotter/big player techniques a la Uston, may require that everyone use the same system, most commonly Hi-lo.
In addition to the styles Parker mentioned, Red 7 is suitable to tag-team Wonging. The players back-count different tables in the same pit. Whoever finds a favorable situation calls in someone else. When I've done this, we signaled the running count as: pivot, pivot+2, pivot+4 and pivot+6. One advantage, as compared with tag-team Wonging using the High-Low, is that you can use the same set of signals regardless of the number of decks in play.
