Switzerland/European Deviation

Hi everyone, i just have started learning blackjack. First, big compliment mo Mr. Wong for this fantastic website, i love it! I hope, someone can answer my question(s).

- To users from sitzerland, which casinos do you recommend and what are the conditions there (i heard Courendlin might me pretty good...)?

- I tried to find some deviation charts (according to the true count) for european style online, but didnt found anything. Can you tell me where to find these charts or how to genereate them (according to different european rules) with which software?

Welcome to the forum!

I think, as you are new to the game, you need first to get comfortable with casino conditions. Go to your nearest casino, scan the tables, backcount, and be sure you don�t lose the count. Then start playing. Count and bet the table minimum until you make no mistakes. When you think you are ready attack the tables seriously.

About playing conditions in Switzerland, maybe Francis Salmon (a pro from Switzerland and a knowledgeable and helpful member of this forum) could kindly share some info.

As far as the European deviations are concerned they are quickly summarized:
1. don't double 11v10 (index +3)
2. don't split 8/8 v 10 (no index)
3. don't split 8/8 v A (no index)
4. don't split A/A v A (no index)
For all the rest American charts can be used.

Generally speaking conditions in Switzerland are bad. CSMS almost everywhere and house edge usually more than 0.5% especially in the East.
Courrendlin might still be an exception but I cannot confirm it since I have been barred there for many years.

There are several casinos within striking distance from my home. They offer average conditions at best but three of them have good fringe benefits. And I have little expenses.
But for boosting my win rate I take trips abroad occasionally.
You'll understand that I cannot give any specifics.
