Sun Cruz suspends cruises......

at 2 of their ports in FL . Their web site says service is suspended at both Madeira Beach ( St Petersburg ) and Daytona until further notice . The St Pete Times reported that the Madeira Beach site is closed for good . Soon to be "real slots " at the Tampa Seminole Hard Rock Casino will finish off the gambling boats in the area . FL Supreme Court still has not ruled on the legality of the compact that Gov of Fl signed with Seminoles on 11/14/07 which would allow card games . Federal government already approved the compact . I do know that Mississippi Gulf Coast casinos are very worried about this , since a significant percentage of thir customers are from FL.

haven't tried new boat yet . Have been working OT at the
" good old PO " so have been waiting for my Biloxi trip in April. Have only heard from a couple of slot players , but they said it was faster , nicer , and better food than Sun Cruz (all of which would be easy to do ).

go on the boat out of NPR?

went on NPR boat more last year than John's Pass even though it's about 4 miles further from home ,but have not made it this year . Have worked most of my days off and have just not had the drive to go on Sunday ,I make an excellent " couch potato " . I like the 9:30 shuttle ,an hour before the crowds arrive when I do go .

Still waiting to see Supreme Court ruling on Seminole compact . If they approve the table game part ,I don't know how the boats will survive . They will only have craps and roulette over the Seminoles and the nice boat ride and free drinks ( I hear the Hard Rock charges $3+ for a beer while you are playing ).
