streak of bad luck

I am using Hi-optI and ranging bets 1-6 i have (practice)played 100 6-deck games and shuffle up after 4 or 4,5 decks played. I am stil in minus (-80 units ). I know that i am playing correctly because i count rest of decks before shuffle. I dont know why i am loosing???
If anyone can help me or say it is normal it would be very nice.

P.S. i am playing 2 hands because in my casinos it is a rule if you are playing head on.

Sorry. Your spread for two hands needs to be at least 1-12, and depending on the rules and pen, will likely require a 1-20 spread.

There really isn't a nice way to say this other than you have to have the courage to put it out there when you have the advantage. Way too many people are afraid of placing large bets, and when they are, it's usually because they're overbetting their bank.

You may want to cut back to one hand (although I don't normally suggest this) and put the 1-12, 1-16, 1-20 out there, until you start to feel comfortable with placing larger bets.

Maybe you did one, a few, or all of the following (taken out of chapter 10 of BJA3):

1. keeping an inaccurate running count ( RC )
2. miscalculating the true count ( TC )
3. Betting an inappropriate amount
4. overbetting

You must keep a side-count of A's for betting purposes if you intend to use an ace-neutral system in shoe games, 'cos it's well known that bet variation is way more important than strategy-indices. However, for single and double deck games, it's the other way round.

To have a better win rate, take bfb's advice: spread 1-12 or more, and try to backcount instead of play-all.

Regardless of whether your losses may be due to negative flux, you are playing a losing game with such a small spread. You are, in effect, assisting the casino's game protection with such a game. With a 1-6 spread at shoes, without serious wonging, you are placing your chips on a one-way street to the chiprack. You need to open a lane in the opposite direction to allow chips to flow from the rack to you. Take the plunge with a much larger spread. What have you got to lose, except less money?
