Flash of course is correct that stations are very sweaty, some more so than others. Maybe no 'strong' player wastes his time there, but some of us not so talented players do. Most station properties, like most properties have a certain threshold that is tolerated. It is true that Stations tolerance levels are below other places, but when discover those levels and settle into that groove, you can get in some play at some decent games. If this particular level of play produces results that are acceptable to you, then it worthwhile playing there. For those of us that are local it provides more options.
And if you are doing any kind of bonus chasing involving machine play, strong station mailers make station properties a must stop on your rotation. Furthermore, for those of us that count a free meal or two every day as part of our 'compensation', station restaurants like Grand Cafe or Pasta Cucina are a good value, stretching your comp dollar.
that you reference. I mentioned a rotation from Boulder Hwy to the North Stations properties. I believe Wisereyes cautioned me to avoid playing GVR to early during the trip. I have reconsided my Vegas trips.
I rotate my stays between Boyd and Stations properties. Playing rated VP and a polite spread at BJ at the properties owned by empire providing my bed. I'll use a stronger but not sheep skinner spread at the stores I intend to stay at the next trip.
I then fire away on the strip and have fun downtown - playing both unrated.
