spotter and disguise questions

I have a few questions I am curious about. In numerous books I have read, I've found that casinos report wins of 10 grand or mroe to the IRS. Then I've also read that many professional players and teams use disguises. How do they get their moeny in the disguise and also get the IRS report correct, assuming that they are doing everything legally. Or do they jsut tell the IRS. And that brings up the question of false identification, which in many books has been said to be perfectly legal. How does one go about obtaining that??? And my last question is how would I go about looking for spotters for hire-- or should I just look at the campus math department (I am a college freshman) and try and find anybody esle interested in the game of 21 and start up a team? If anybody has answers to any of these questions, I'd appreciate it! Thanks!!!

The casino reports cash transactions of 10K or more. This has nothing to do with winning. I run into this much more frequently on th e losing side than the winning side. When you play on markers or come in with chips you can do 20K to 30K without any reporting requirement. On cashing chips you run into reporting requirements if you cash in more than 10K in a gaming day. Again, this is not winnings, this is chips. You may have bought in for 8K cash and 6K with chips that you already had on hand, and are now down 3k. But when you go to cash the 11K of chips you have left it is a reportable event. This is no different than when you buy a car with cash, or make a 10K cash deposit or withdrawal at a bank. In both cases they must send in a currency transaction report (CTR).

The CTR rules present a big problem for high level players as it becomes difficult to remain anonymous. We may use an alias to play but giving false information for govenernment documents is a felony. Over the course of a career the CTR rules will likely cost you more money than Griffin, Biometrica, and FRS technology combined, if you play for high stakes. I have to walk away from great games all the time because I have a bad 20 minutes at the start and am starting to get close to the reporting threshold (on the buy in side).

I have read Anderson's book, which was actually very insightful and I am part way though Blackjack Attack (2e). And I know all my question seem too much in high hopes-- they are jsut what I happened to think of and what I want to know! I liked the Bringing Down the House book and it of course was fun with all the romantic things that people dream about-- but I do realize that the game is not like that for -- well nearly everybody! I do want to learn all the casino games, but blackjack is my main game, and I play it because I love the game -- I think all the romantic high stakes thoughts of course, but in the end I just love the game! That's the only reason I can imagine why anybody would even take it up-- because big money is so rare in actuality! I jsut posted the questions getting all caught up in the excitement! And I still am curious how to cash out in a different identity! But I know I will most likely never need to know it-- but hey, I'm curious! Okay, so now I'm just rambling and I'll shut the heck up! like "What to do so that I don't lose my bankroll". The questions you asked in the other post make obvious that u have not read "numerous books" or "all the books". You should go step by step. Learn a system and start incorporating techniques when you feel comfortable with the previous ones. Build you playing with practice or you will last 10 secs. in a Casino.

Team development:
First you need a team leader to coordinate activities. If you have the aptitude it can be you.
Recruiting/training team members should be fairly easy on a campus, as you have a large pool of potentially intelligent people to draw from who are not set in careers yet. All should be trained consistently and competently for the games and type of play you will be working. Another key factor for the crew is trust and unit integrity. Obviously all members must be trustworthy and loyal to each other, simular to a traditional mob crew. Along with normal play operations develop contingiencies for what to do when a member is detected, backed off, or barred. And of course, settle on the finacial aspect prior to beginning operations.

Disquises:
Again a campus may provide an outstanding asset for this: the drama department. Many have Hollywood grade make-up/costume sections were members could go to learn the art of disquise, and it is an art. After working undercover operations for 9 years, we found a great source for such at a local university.

also remember that even with counting you will have many loses too, as a few of the real prossay -bet big ,when winning and with the streak and decrease when loosing..
Also remember in Canada counting is promoted and they often have signs encouraging it.
