different view of the sadness of Frank
As you know I am a "buddist if anything," athiest, but you should perhaps use quantum theory and general relativity as you well know?
As to general relativity itself, even a flaw, as may exist for the speed of propigation of gravity itself, will not lead to crackpot theories such as Frank suggests, but are more likely to be those where some factors of string theory are mated with some aspects of GR being left as geometry.
People like Frank are like those who when confronted by quantum theory, and things like the 3 possibilities of The Copenhagen Many Worlds hypothesis, knowing that some things cannot be determined rationaly, then jump to the false conclusion that this is evidence that those things can be determined irrationaly.
It is funny because people like Frank seldom realize that there are rational, non-traditional, advantage plays that really can accomplish what they try to get by their stuff (I would call it voodoo but that is an insult to voodoo perhaps?). alienated, Grossjean, and May have detailed what it takes to really predict how a game can have sections of the shuffled pack, especially on ShuffleMaster games, where player naturals are predictable, and predictable to reoccur. I have posted on how you can spot aces and tens, both as hole cards and when such cards can be predicted to be dealt in the future. It is much like those who don't know quantum mechanics don't know that many of their religious ideas and strange seeking of non-local voodoo, can have a factual basis, and might be the basis of future technology, where who is to really say that a quatrature relationship of current and resistance, in say a Radionics box, or Orgone chamber, might not be the stumblings of future technology, much the same way that early experiments in negative resistance amplification, in galena crytal junctions, in 1871, and experiments with feedback in arc generators in microwave cavities (the first conducted by Young, the second conducted by Bose) in 1893, did not bear real fruit until 1947 (Shockley, Barjean, etc. at Bell labs) or 1940 (Marconi works Great Britain)?
But such people in fact are so irrational they in fact cannot handle the goals they think they seek. So forget them; they are doomed to lose!
