I would hate to put anyone on the spot, yet I hope somebody will come to my aid as I am in dire need of some good advice from a knowledgable person, lest I lose all my money before I even hit the tables.
In the past I have purchased nothing but poor blackjack programs, primarily because they were cheap and therefore affordable, but in the end all I ended up with is what I believe to be a lot of junk, exactly what I paid for.
While I am still a beginner at the game of twenty-one, I am now reaching the point where I am becoming more serious about the game and understand the dedication required to play it successfully. I do plan to play at least semi-professionally if not at a full blown professional or expert level, and have come to realize that now is the time to make my investment for the future.
How should I say this humbly... Well, here goes: I believe myself to be of at least average intelligence and I am willing to put in the time and effort it takes to become proficient at the game albiet I do have my reservations, but anyway I ask which blackjack program would be best overall for price and performance?
Right now I am considering both Smart Cards and what is it, Blackjack 6-7-8 as they are the same price but I would also be interested in Karel Janecek's SBA or really Professional Blackjack Analyser by David Smith, if they are more closely suited to my purposes although they are a bit pricey.
My purposes are I guess quite general, yet straight forward in that I want a program that is all encompassing allowing me not only to practice card counting cards in special tutoring sessions and so forth, but also run high speed test simulations so I can create, and analyse my own playing strategies with full multiparameter strategy indexes for both balanced and unbalanced systems with true count conversion. I would also like to analyse betting schemes and other money management aspects as I consider them to be very important not only theoretically but also in practice to actually make money, or lose less.
I sure hope someone will come to my aid and offer me thier recommendations, because I am just about crazy enough and avid enough that I may actually buy them all, and believe me when I say I am very poor as it is and can hardly afford to write on this FREE message
board.
I can,t help but reiterate that I am interested in a blackjack program that covers all topics of blackjack including should I say the more esoteric and arcane stuff usually reserved for the experts, and in full detail at a reasonable cost.
P.S. No offense, but I don't want any play games because I already have far too many toys including computer software and handheld electronic games not to mention about 20 decks of playing cards, of course to go along with my library of blackjack books.
I hope I didn't come across as too eager, but what can I say I am, and I know I'm terrible at hiding it. Oh, how will I ever be able to pull off an act and not revel in my eventual winnings without being barred? Sigh!
