gorilla player,
Nick(Dandolos) the Greek said 'in roulette if the ball is landing black, don't bet against it on red; stay with black.'
A lot of True to form staticians would state this is just the extremes that come and go. They may even bet on Red, against the Flow!
But there are patterns in the clouds; weather is sometimes predicted by them. There are patterns in the stars, or there would be no moon or mars launch that were sucessful. The sun is at the same degree every year with 57 minutes of space except leap year(a pattern). So with the planets and stars; patterns that the ancients tried to understand.
MAYBE LIKE BJ PROGRESSIONISTS ARE BAFFLED BY the science of counting; not putting together the high and low ratio patterns.
And I totally agree, if that coin was tossed for infinity, like simulations, we would see the numbers even out to 50/50; with all the extremes in there as well.
In Archery hunting we call it 'instinctive shooting' or 'instinctive hunting'. It's like you are slipping through a pine thicket and a sensation comes upon you and says 'the deer are just behind that knoll'; then you find they are! A total logical hunter would say that's not credible. But it's acepted in the art of archery hunting.
Totally in agreement with you gorilla player about what I call FUNDAMENTALIST PROGRESSIONISTS; they are too narrow with what they observe and wear blinders most of the time about math or the skill in the game.
