Single Deck Most Liberal Rules

Players can: double down on any number of cards, surrender anytime (unless the dealer has blackjack or even after hitting and doubling down), split up to four hands, split after hitting (whenever two same-value cards are touching, you can split the second one off and start a new hand, you can even split after doubling down but you cannot split to prevent busting), blackjack pays even money but suited blackjack pays 3 to 2, six-card without busting wins, player blackjack always wins. Is this worth playing? What's the difference from regular blackjack that pays 3 to 2? Thanks for replies

Even with the liberal rules, you're still better of playing a regular BJ 3:2 single deck game. Blackjack paying even money is something you want to avoid.

If so, forget about it. It is dealt from a CSM.

I was at the LV Club in early December. I didn't play the "Liberal rules game" because the BJ pays even money. So, I have to admit that I didn't examine the game to closely. But I'm pretty sure there "Liberal Rules" game uses an Auto Shuffler, and not a CSM, just like the rest of the LV Club games. I saw no CSM's, but I saw an auto shuffler on every table I played. I could be wrong, it could have been CSM's on there "Liberal rule" tables, but I'm almost positive they were just auto shufflers.

A strategy designed just for this game, the off-the-top disadvantage is about one percent, much worse than regular bj. It is countable, of course, and an advantage can be gained at high counts. The strategy is complex and difficult. Play regular bj instead, unless you have some spare time to learn a new strategy. PV

The "World's Most Liberal Blackjack" at LVC is dealt from a CSM containing eight decks. I reverified it today. It's the only CSM in LVC. All the other games there are real single deck games with automatic shufflers rotating the single decks.

In that case, then yes, playing that game is a complete waste of time. That explains how they can get away with the great rules.
