maybe not so
I may be mistaken(if so please someone correct my aproach). First you need to know what is your starting disadvantage. You didn`t provide the rule set, so I assume:SD...+0.02
H17...-0.19
BJ pays 1:1...-2.32
total starting disadvantage..... -2.49
We can round this to 2.5 to make things clearer. Now multiply this by 2(same as dividing by 0.5) 5 is your TC you need to get to play even game. With ideal beting in reg. BJ game you`d bet in units what your TC is. In this case, you`ll be beting 1 unit till you reach + 5. (actually, the deeper in the deck, the smaller this TC needs to be because of the floating advantage). At TC of +6 you bet 6 units (this is the same as beting 2 units in reg. game). There`s nothing in between 1 and 6. so jumping from 1 to 6 will give you same advantage as beting 1-2 in reg. game, 1-7 as 1-3, etc. You didn`t specify the rules so your starting disadvantage may be lesser because taking even $ is allways correct play. Then, you can gain big advantage (I don`t know how many%) using the end play- see Beat the dealer.
