What do you guys think about shuffle tracking with an unbalanced system such as KO? I can definitely see that it is much harder to do then with a balanced count such as Hi-Lo. Nevertheless do any of you APs attempt to track with an unbalanced count? If so I would like to hear about it...

Card Counting and Shuffle Tracking are two different types of advantage plays, not necessarily linked to one another. In fact, a good shuffle tracker who places a nice segment of 10s at the top of a freshly shuffled shoe or deck, and using big bets off the top, appears to actually be betting INTO a falling count (as the 10s come out, the count goes down... but the bets stay nice and large!).
Card counting, whether balanced or unbalanced, will tell you a lot about the composition of the rest of the palyable cards pre-shuffle, but if you've truly done your work as a shuffle tracker, all the count will tell you is to get up & go to the bathroom unti lthe next shuffle...
