Should I be concerned about some odd Oklahoma Casinos requirements

It appears that the Chickasaw Nation, which operates several of the larger casinos in Oklahoma, wants all customers to giveup their rights as a US citizen. To play slots or participate in most casino events you are required to have a players card. Following is the last sentence in the application form, which is above the signature line.

"The applicant consents to the jurisdiction of (chickasaw)Nation's law and judicial system without limitation to time or event."

They demand the same type of agreement from anyone during business with their casinos, before they will pay any bill for services, advertisement, tv ads, supplies, etc.

I'd think that by setting foot within their jurisdictional bounds you made that tacit agreement already. I consider it like going overseas and comport myself accordingly.

Are they scanning your driver license in order to get a card? I'd be more worried about that.

I asked if I had to have a driver licenses to get a players card and I was told yes. I did not inquire further about what about individuals, who did not have a driver licenses.

These places in general are a little unsophisticated in some areas. Just keep pounding on them, nicely, on differing shifts, and you may catch them at a time that the systems are down or find someone to just do it for you manually, without swiping your license .. just visually inspecting it.

Just don't let it out of your hand.

Again, regarding the statement on the sign up sheet, you have to always keep in mind you have set foot upon a soverign nation in unto itself in many respects. I am always on my best behaviour but if you are gonna play there you don't have much choice but to acknowledge their jurisdiction.

Regarding Ada and Ardmore (right?) why would you want to play there other than poker? Last I knew about all the table games were raked up to as high as 10% per hand, they use CSMs and ASMs, and still cut a deck and a half off a six deck shoe.

I've just been wondering, what's with the "Re:" in the subject heading of your posts?

"Re:" usually means in reference to:.

Some sites' forum software allows posters to reply to other posts without writing a subject heading. When a poster chooses this option, the parenting post's subject heading appears with Re: in front of it implying that the post is in reference to the parent post.

Personally, I'm not too fond of that option because I've seen many threads that start with one subject heading and will have a dozen or so posts all with that same heading with Re: in front of it.

You can't tell if anybody's saying anything interesting in those threads unless you read every single post.

You and some others who frequently post on a site that has that option routinely tend to type in that option and even put Re: on new, independent subject headings.

I'm not criticizing, and of course, you don't need my approval anyway, but I was just wondering why.
