There is wide difference of opinion about tipping, but that really has more to do with scraping out a positive EV.
Sure, we don't like pit critters because they are our advesaries and we dislike their tactics.
But dealers? I've met some sorry characters who were dealers to be sure, but you will find some less than desirable people in any group. A lot of the dealers I have played against have been very nice and a pleasure to meet.
Dealers are just employees making a living. They vary in how nice they are. You were admonished for making racial characterizations on another site.
This is a similar offense. Give people a chance on their own individual merits.
If you had a kid and they bought drugs off somebody working for a big dealer than how is that any different than the dealer who deals the cards that destroy people's lives and give them bad strategy plays. They can't get a job anywhere else where they don't hurt people? What is that? And education has nothing to do with being a decent human being. How many educated people do you know that you can't trust? Or that are nasty people.
I didn't make any offensive remarks about someones race I just pointed out that he was Polish because they had an exchange program. The guy kept asking the pitboss or fs if he was paying me correctly when he knew and I was winning every hand with my top bets out. He kept paying my 2 big bets and calling the guy over and this was my first night counting when I won 300 units. You wouldn't be pissed?
The fact that the guy was Polish didn't have anything to do with the story. It could have been any break-in-dealer.Obviously, he didn't trust his payouts and frankly I prefer this to those who in case of doubt just take your money.
There is an English saying that goes: If you're in a hole, don't dig!
So please stop your nonsense about dealers being like drug dealers.
The guy wasn't asking about how much to pay me just how to pay me. Anyway, I didn't try to offend anybody and apologized if I offended anybody but I still believe they overreacted because the guy could have gotten me into a lot of trouble because he knew how to pay me but kept asking.
