Senecas name their Casino in Niagara Falls NY
The Seneca Nation of Indians officially named their Niagara Falls, New York Casino on Friday. They simply names it SENECA NIAGARA CASINO. Outgoing Seneca President Cyrus M. Schindler said that he likes the name because of its simplicity and because, "people are going to call it the Seneca Casino" anyway.
Shindler is leaving the Seneca Presidency due to term limits this coming Tuesday and is being replaced by Rickey L. Armstrong, another pro-casino member. Armstrong was voted into the Presidency by a 60-40 margin, on election day. Shindler was voted into the Tribal Council.
The Seneca Niagara Casino is scheduled to open December 31.
