I have developed a new system called the Super Duper Powerful Progression. I want to give Jomoats credit for inspiring my idea. I plan to publish a best selling book or two on this system, but I wanted to give the readers of this board a free glance, just cause I like y'all so darn much.
There are alot of aspects to this progression, and I am still refining some of the finer points, but here are the basics. I apologize for the formatting, and I promise that the book will include a decision tree flow chart that is easier to follow. Right now, I only have the plan for single deck games, but will come up with a double deck version soon.
I have not yet done any sims, but I am almost certain that this betting progression will improve the average players results as compared to just flat betting. Note that my results factor in increased comps.
Because of the high powwer of this progression, you may find the dealer shuffling when you increase your bet from $5 to $200, for example. If this happens, you will know that the casino agrees in the power of the SDP progression. Best to find a less intelligent casino, instead.
Rules:
1. Play only single deck games that pay 3:2 on Blackjacks.
2. Play only at tables that have a total of 4 or 5 players, where the dealer is dealing exactly two hands between shuffles.
3. Always use a players card.
4. Always use basic strategy (a more advanced version to be released in the future will include certain variations).
5. Never play against a CSM (this is covered in rule #2, but I want to be clear).
Betting strategy. Walk through the following questions in order:
1. If the pit boss is paying attention to your table, then bet 40 units ($200 if you have a $5 unit); otherwise continue to question #2.
2. If this is the first hand after a shuffle, then bet 1 unit ($5); otherwise continue to question #3.
3. If the prior hand included more than 20 cards dealt in total, AND you saw no face cards, tens, or aces, then bet 40 units ($200); otherwise continue to question #4.
4. If the prior hand included less than 20 cards in total, but you saw no faces, tens, or aces, then bet 20 units ($100); otherwise continue to question #5.
5. Not really a question, just bet $5 and order another drink.
