s17 & h17 Question.

I am playing in Biloxi all the time and alway face with s17, using KO prefered.
Will get a change to take a trip to Montana for a while.
So I like to stop by at Tunica for some action($10-50), single deck only(might be for 5 days).
You guy got any suggestion about the different play or do I have to change any thing to play in h17 game(It'll be my first time at it)

The playing differences between H17 and S17 are minor, just remember to hit soft 18 vs an Ace, and remember that in H17 the dealer upcard 6 now busts more than the 5 does which is opposite S17, and that will change indice numbers very slightly for the 6. I would suggest only remmeber to hit the soft 18 vs Ace as anything else is not worth the time if you are only going to be playing this for 5 days.

I am not an expert on KO, but I thought the KO Preferred was basically the I18 for KO. The big I18 change for H17 concerns dropping the index for 12v6 but adding an index for 16vAce. I don't know the exact indexes for KO, but I am pretty sure that you can stand on 16vAce at Pivot, and probably slightly below.

The are shifts for the other indexes as well (like 11vAce), but these are minor nad not as important

Departure indices vs. 6 are further from zero in H17

Departure indices vs. A are closer to zero in H17

Indices v. 2 thru 5 are slightly closer to zero in the large ones, same in the small ones (ie; -15 becomes -14; -6 stays -6) which means they are functionally the same.

Indices vs. 7 thru T remain the same.
