I've been practicing my counting for a few months now, and I'm finally confident that I've got the skills to do it for real. The only casinos within a reasonable distance are in AC, which means that I'm going to have to play with a $10 unit in 6/8 deck games with penetration that's usually around 75%. At this point, I can't really afford to lose more than $3-500 in a single trip and still come home smiling (I'm doing this for fun, not income-- in case the size of my bankroll didn't tip you off). What are my chances of doubling up before tapping out, and how many hands can I expect to get in? CVCX is giving me a 67% risk of ruin with a bankroll of $300, Blackjack Audit is putting it at around 45% (with essentially a zero chance of making it past 100 hands). On the other hand, Million Dollar Blackjack makes it look like a bankroll of around 70 units (not much more than I'm working with) will give me a 10% ROR at a 1% advantage. What are my chances of coming home happy, and where can I go to find a good explanation of risk of ruin? Thanks!
