Can someone tell me what my average total action per hand is if I flat bet $10 in a 6D, H17, RSA, DOA game, playing perfect basic strategy?

Your total action per hand is $10. I don't think you want to know your action, maybe you disadvantage? As far as the disadvantage based on rules, check out wizardofodds.com

Sometimes I double, then my action is $20. Sometimes there are splits or DAS.

What is the average total action per round? I'm guessing the result is about the $13-$14 range.

I think basic strategy was calculated treating doubles and splits as
separate hands.

So doubling an eleven would be treated as two separate hands/bets for a flat better.

Us Wong's BS outcome for 100 hand series(Lose 47 1/4, win 44 1/4 and tie 8 1/2 hands)(couldn't find the exact figures)you would have to treat all doubles and splits as additional hands. I'm only guessing,so maybe Wong will tell us how he calculated his BS outcome. If I'm right, then your average bet remains at $10.

If you

1) put $10 in the betting circle at the start of every hand,

2) double and split for another $10 when BS tells you to do so,

3) play for an hour,

how much money will you have put "in action" by the end of an hour? How many times will you have placed the ORIGINAL $10 bet?

Divide the total action by the number of times you placed the original bet. Dog Hand says the result is $11.32.

The third requirement (play for an hour) isn't even necessary. I could've (and probably should've) just said "play for any length of time".

Does the game allow DAS, also what about surrender?

Hi, I'm new so apologies if this info is available elsewhere, though I have spent time searching for it and this is the only thread I have come across.

Is the $11.32 figure rule dependent? How did you work it out? (if it's quick and easy to explain).

If you don't mind, can you work out the following for me? 1D (dealer peeks), S17, DA2, DAS, 1 split only. Calculated player advantage 0.153119996% using composition dependent basic strategy. Assume $10 flat-betting.

I ran CVData for the rule set you specified, with the player using Complete Basic Strategy and flat-betting $10 per hand. At 100 rounds per hour, the total action was $1135.26 per hour. That means that the average amount bet on each round is $11.3526.

You didn't specify the penetration or the total number of players, so I guessed three total players and 50% pen (all the SD, S17, DAS games I know have 50% pen). No doubt the average bet will depend slightly on these values... perhaps in the fifth significant digit. In addition, since you didn't specify a count system, I had the player use Complete Basic Strategy. If you specify a particular strategy, the average bet may change a bit, due to more splitting and doubling at high counts, and less of each at low counts.

By the way, even with flat betting the player's Initial Bet Advantage was 0.042%, while his Total Bet Advantage was 0.037%.

Thanks for the quick response. The reason I didn't mention penetration is because it's an online game and a new deck is used for each hand and only one hand is permitted. Thus penetration is not really a factor but basic strategy variations can be used depending on the composition of your first two cards plus further player favourable adjustments can be made depending on what the 3rd/4th/5th/6th/7th cards are. Eg, 5+7 v 3 = S instead of H and A+2+10 v 2 = H instead of S. Without all of the possible multi-card strategy adjustments the house edge is supposed to be only approx 0.11%. Why is this so different from your result of 0.042%? Or have I misunderstood something?
