A-Yes, such a player will last longer, because he has ventured somewhat out of the �Card Counter� profile. If you read the last Blackjack Forum, you will note that in the �top 21 signs of a card counter� article, all 21 have one element in common; counters are a serious bunch and do not appear to be on vacation, they are in the casinos to make money. This shows in their countenance, mannerisms, and overall playing style.

I actually do this when practising,i deal out about 3 to 5 hands as fast as i can,i play at 1st base.I comment out loud on my hand and talk about the other players hands but only if an interesting one comes,dont want to be blabbering to much i think that would annoy people.

I say things like "wow great call man" or "whoaa this dealer is killing us" or i make up conversations like "anyone see the game last night?"

But the ones i wanna perfect are the times when you lose and the count rises,I dont like to do what Donny baby says and leave the same bet out i like to rise,what kind of comments will let me get away with this try "I know im gonna get you this time dealer!" or "your reign of terror is over and mine is going to begin" or "only chickenshits back down after losing,I keep positive" what else can i use and does using this kind of comment work?

Anyway it may feel weird talking to yourself but it does help the act.

ask the ploppy next to me what he would do with this hand. I'll follow their advice if they're right, but if they're not I'll say something like, "aw what the hell, I'm here to gamble" and do what I want anyway. Also if a ploppy makes a bad play that ends up saving the table I'll always comment about how he made a good choice and saved the table.

But on the other hand I use a little tactic to clear out a table,say the joint is gang packed,you cant get up nice and cosy head to head with a dealer or at most 2 other players.So you go to a table sit down and never shut the fuck up,you annoy plops on purpose
stuff like "hey your crazy how could you do that" sort of things like that,then you take forever to make a move.In others words act like an OddBall!
I guarantee the plops will leave fairly fast.But dont try this in your loke,in your loke be nice as pie to everyone,even bring in some pie and share it!

If you really know how to count as well as you know the English language, you will have no problem fooling the pit. ;-)

Seriously, take bond trader's advice. I always listen attentively to bond trader, even though it may seem like I have lost his e-mail address. Hey bond trader! How's the portfolio? How do you like your new BJRM 2002?

I think you could do very well with his Caddyshack advice. You seem to have a good time with the game. Watch the other players and learn what they do when they win and lose. The best act is to mimic them...especially when you are making index plays and insurance. Look like you are greedy when the doubles arise....occasionally make believe that you are not in it "for the long run" and act like each hand really means something to you. Act nervous and pretend to be desperate when your big bets are losing... Have fun and talk to the 'other' ploppies. In your 'loke' take the time to chat with the dealers and pit critters. In short, make yourself another welcome loser. But don't be afraid to put the money out there. Degenerate gamblers are always welcome. But don't slow down the game...you need to keep it moving and appear impulsive.

Don't bring pie to the table. Conditions are crummy enough already.

The most costly betting cover move is to not raise your bet after a loss if a raise is justified. Any excuse to raise should be exploited.
