I logged onto your website many months ago and found the intriguing article on CSMs and latency of distribution. I am now interested in working through this process but have a couple of questions:
In the procedure of looking at the first 3 cards of each round, should the chance of non-recurrence be 192/207*191/206*190/205 rather than 196/208*195/207*194/206? The reason I say this is because we have 16 cards of each value in a set of 4 decks and we are removing one, which leaves us with 15 remaining to be a match (207-15=192 non matches) and so on.
Also, how do you determine how many rounds it takes for cards to re-enter play? Is this a separate exercise from the test for non-randomness above?
Thanks in advance,
SnowE.
