hello everyone,
i have a question for whoever can please help:
i am reading peter griffin's "the theory of blackjack". on page 7, he states the following is an official policy statement of the province of alberta's gaming control section:
"card counters who obtain an honest advantage over the house through a playing strategy do not break any law....gaming supervisors should ensure that no steps are taken to discourage any player simply because he is winning."
does anyone know if this is true or current? has anyone counted in alberta, canada? does this mean that they are not allowed to employ countermeasures, like they can in atlantic city?
thanks!
