Progressive Blackjack?

Anyone ever see Blackjack with a progressive meter like CS Poker has?
Casino I play at is getting two of there tables with this side bet. They haven't said much about it because they haven't been trained on it.

All I know is it's a $1.00 side bet and some how you win with a natural, nothing more is known. Anyone ever see this type of side bet before, or even have a probability/gain/strategy for it?

*I live in the middle of no-where Canada, don't get to see very may other casino's and games often.*

Possibly "Bonus Blackjack" - if so, forget about it

Bonus Blackjack originated at the Riverside in Laughlin, NV, and is licensed to other casinos. It has a progressive meter. A player blackjack with Ace of Spades and Jack of Spades (about a 1 in 1326 chance), wins the progressive amount. But the meter never gets anywhere near +EV. It also pays 15 to 1 for a player BJ and 15 to 1 for a dealer BJ. If what you have there is Bonus Blackjack, forget about it, it's for suckers only.
