In the mid 50's I was stationed in the military (US) in Asia. I received my discharge in 1957 and attended college. One day I went to the cafeteria to have lunch. A young chinese gentleman sat across from me. I figured I'm a friendly guy so I asked him what part of China he was from. He said he was from Minnesota. That was the beginning of my education.
