Poker (Newbie Questions)
Please bear with this question in its simplicity. I'm very familiar with the progression of blackjack against the dealers, but I wanted to know how poker works in the casinos.
Over here we don't play against each other...only against the dealer. Now in poker I'm assuming both you and the dealer draw the required amount of cards, but what happens when neither of you have anything decent to play with (e.g. there is not even a pair)? I know a strategy with poker is the betting strategy, but against the dealer this surely can't be possible can it? I'm experienced with general poker play (Texas Hold 'Em etc), but have no experience at the casinos.
