piggy-backing
When I went to my local casino on the weekend, it was pretty crowded, not easy to get a seat each time I wanted to leave a table. So I found a good basic strategy player at one table and piggybacked his bets, only when the count was good enough. I know I am giving up the possibility of changing my play according to the indices, except for insurance, but it beats staying in my seat and having to bet through negative counts.... or does it? Any advice would be appreciated.
