I play BJ using Hi-Low count. Soon I will visit Europe, where often bj rules are way worst then in US, but over/under13 is a common side bet. Is there any way of beating this bet using Hi-Low or a similar system? Some websites claim so, and sell a "system" for $99. I�m not going to spend this kind of money on a system sold on the net, but it seems to make some sense. Can someone help me with that?
There are specialized counts for over/under. PBJ mentions one and Snyder's the over/under report details another such count. Penetration is more important than in a regular game since you have advantage when the count is extremely high and extremely low. You won't find this pen. in European casinos.Shark
...if you can actually find a beatable o/u game. The o/u bet is unusually sensitive to errors because of the volatility associated with the effects of removal-an unbalanced system cuts down on error, the Ubalo is alos quite powerful in its own right.
you may want to play with a friend, one using Hi-Lo for betting/play decisions, the other player using a count specifically for the O/U sidebet.

Bet the over +3 or more, under -5 or lower TC.

Although I have had reports of O/U bets in Europe they invariably turn out to have very low max bet limits and/or exist in poor pen games.
