I'm wondering about the house edge at online gambling sites.
All of the sites I've been to use random number generators (RNGs) and a SHUFFLE is performed after EVERY hand.
Obviously, card counting is not really possible.
But, my question really centers around house edge.
At a land based casino an 8 Deck, S17, DA2, DAS, OBO, No surrender game has an estimated house edge of 0.47% (blackjackinfo.com).
I remember reading in Professional Blackjack where Wong comes to the conclusion that shuffling HELPS the casino, and handicaps the player.
So...would it be correct to think that a player (using strict basic strategy with no card counting) has better chances at a land based casino rather than at an online casino (where the deck is shuffled after EVERY hand)?
