What are you going to do when ALL the casinos have constant shufflers? That is where we are headed, card counting will be over.
Progression will live on. :) You all must be truly depressed about the arrival of the constant shufflers.

It is my understanding that in Vegas there were more CSM's 7 years ago than there are now. As I walk through Vegas casinos I find a grand total of ZERO CSM's in high limit rooms. As a general rule the CSM has been a severe failure for casinos in Vegas and today is relegated to the lowest of limit tables to eek out more hands per hour against the $5 and $10 players.
Instead casinos have given up on CSM's and have gone to more ASM's, which still give them the additional hands per hour but can be beaten by counting because they know their larger players will refuse to play against CSM's.
That does not mean there will not be something in the future that will defeat counting. The casinos and manufacturers are always trying things. Mindplay was a good example but a dismal failure on their part.
Again, I think you have spent little if any real time playing blackjack

BJTraveler is fairly well known in counting circles. He has a good reputation and his forte is playing the casinos overseas. I rather doubt if he is in never-never land. Progressionists, on the other hand ...
I would never expect counters to claim anything short of "massive" winnings. I think I'd be careful jaunting about the globe card counting in foreign casinos. Being backed off would be a treat compared to what they may do to a counter there. :)
Keep counting boys (and girls, i suppose there's at least one girl who counts). You'll all be rich, only 275,000 more hands to your first grand.
