newbie betting advice?

Greetings!

I�m a newcomer to blackjack and would appreciate if any poster with access to a simulator could crunch out some numbers regarding the following game:

6D
DAS
No doubling on soft hands (effectively D,9,10,11 � I think)
No surrender
About 70% pen.

My count system is KO preferred and I gather that I would need a fairly large bet spread to gain a decent (if it can be called that) expectation for this rather crappy game.

I would like to spread 1-20 from �5<=RC=<+4 and would appreciate if anyone would suggest a betting schedule for bets units at each RC as well as expectation/hand and SD/hand so that I can figure out my Bank/ROR tradeoff.

At this casino, head on play against the dealer means you must play two hands. I know this is a sub-optimal constraint particularly when playing through low counts; however, I�d appreciate suggestions of how to bet and spread with 2 hands (around 1-20) along with expectation/hand and SD/hand for this playing style.

As a beginner, have not yet invested in software just wanna see if blackjack is a game for me, hope its not too much bother for someone to �donate� the necessary simulated results,

I don't use KO, so I will leave specific answers for other posters who do. But I do have some general comments.

For your game, you definitely about some type of Wonging strategy. Pure Wonging, which is sometime called back-counting, means observing the game and only playing positive EV hands. This is often not practical, so sometimes we modify this and play neutral counts, but take breaks when he pack is really negative. For Shoe games, you really need to think about getting out of thoe negative hands.

I think you may be mistaken in your views about 1 and 2 spots. There was a famous Green Chip Post of the Month by DD about this topic. I would recommend it to you.

the various wonging and other strategies would depend on how attentive the pit is and also how busy the tables. to properly consider all playing styles i probably would need some software.

i know you dont use KO, but any advice or (pointers) on which simulator would best fit my needs (KO and this type of game/rules) would really be appreciated.
