If you are playing a shoe game, do you think it is a bad idea to play from the start until you lose a hand and then wait until the count per deck is +1 and start from there in and out?
I've run one or two computer tests of this idea some years ago.
The theory being tested was that one is likely winning as the high cards are coming out; so only wong out when the TC is <= -2 and one of two things happens: (1) you lose a hand; or (2) the count stops dropping.
This does NOT work. It is only trivially better than not wonging at all.
One piece of advice: uses a ROUNDED TC for wonging purposes even if you use a floored or trucated TC for betting and playing purposes. IOW, wong out @ a TC of -1.5 or lower.
To start at a fresh shoe and when you lose one had wong in at +1 and wong out at the same point but you bet the count as it goes up but avoid the negative counts or can only lose one hand.
I'm not going to go into the (proprietary) details, but this is a *really* BAAAAD idea.
Also, NMS will preclude it anyway.
