I have 3 questions: 1) Can the card counting strategies be used against online casinos or only land based? 2) Are the online casinos legit? I have been using Sands of the Carribean and in a short time actually won more than I lost,I thought maybe they wanted to "suck" me in? 3) There are so many different strategies for card counting,what is the simplest one to learn since I read the win variation doesn't alter much between one and the other. thanks...
Typically with online casino's all cards are available for every hand - the equivilant of shuffeling after every hand. So counting does not provide significant enough advantage.
I'm not the best person to answer the legitimacy question as I don't play online enough. I've read very positive comments about using the casinos advertised on Casinomeister.com. Apperently they are very picky about who gets to advertise and sometimes help with complaints from people who sign up through them.
I use HiLo for counting. There seems to be more HiLo counters here than KO. But then this is Stanford's page. I originally chose HiLo because I found more information on it. I've since not found a strong reason to switch, just adding indicies.
