Hey all..just wanted some thoughts on the topic of new cards..
Although it is primarily thought of as a supersition for players who have no real idea what they are doing with the game, I have noticed through personal observation that when the pit brings out new cards there appears to be a significant advantage for the house. Things that very rarely happen (such as a dealer pulling four and five card hands with a +6 (KO) count in a double deck) when the cards are well used, happen somewhat more frequently when there are new cards.
Is there any mathmatical reality to this (Ive read up a little bit on card sequencing, and I think there might be a way to relate this subject to sequencing) or is this just a short term fluctuation that I am experiencing (since I am still a relative beginner to advantage play). Any literature on this subject at all or will I have to write it? :)
Thanks for any help!
David
