Need players for game show

The Travel Channel is doing a new show called The World Series of Blackjack. I am one of the consultants on the show. I know this is short notice but I need some players who are familiar with tournament style blackjack for some practice run-throughs Tuesday & Wednesday evening at 6pm, and Thursday about noon. This is in the L.A. area. They would prefer people under 35. If anyone in the LA area is interested please email me. There is some pay.

This is not the show itself. These run-throughs are a tool for the network. The show is a "go" and will start shooting in January.

Please recommend that they find folks who are experts in blackjack and tournament play for commentators. I was quite disappointed in the recent televised version of the Hilton tournament. The announcers missed a lot, and some of the explanations on the rules were seriously flawed. I noticed Anthony Curtis in the background, but didn't hear from him. Of course, our own Stanford Wong might be a good choice, since he wrote the definitive book on tournament play.

by educating the public about the fake blackjack games that pay only 80%(6:5) on blackjack, how the continuous shuffle machines, how eight and six deck shoes are bad for the player.

If more of the general public understood how it is foolish to play the above and refused to do so, it might help stop their spread.

Otherwise the future of blackjack doesn't look very bright.

Such a show will never focus on the items you mention.
