Multiple Cellinis

I have just learned that there is a casino host in Las Vegas whose real name is D.V. Cellini. Mr. Cellini�s father, also named D.V. Cellini, also worked in the casino industry for many years in Havana, Cuba, before moving to Las Vegas when Castro closed the casinos there.

The author of The Card Counter�s Guide to Casino Surveillance chose the pseudonym D.V. Cellini out of his interest in gambling history. His book in no way concerns the life of the D.V. Cellini who worked in Battista�s casinos, and he is in no way related to this individual or his son, the casino host. Also, the D.V. Cellini who is the casino host is not the author of The Card Counter�s Guide to Casino Surveillance.

The author posts exclusively on bj21.com and uses the handle Cellini. All posts by the author are authenticated with David.

It would be valuable to card counters or any other advantage players who are playing to take money out of the casinos. It would have little $$ value to casual players or tourists, although such players might find the view of the world behind-the-eye interesting. Much of the book is specifically concerned with methods advantage players can use to avoid being detected as such by casino surveillance personnel.

In editing the book with Cellini, he answered every question I could think of about surveillance detection of advantage players. I then invited several professional players to submit their questions to Cellini, and he answered all of their questions too. I believe it will change not only public views of surveillance, but will have a strong impact on the longevity and profits of serious players.

Definitely something I will look into.
