Multi deck (non-continuous) shuffle machines appear to execute a very thorough shuffle.
Seems to me that if multiple decks are TRULY well shuffled then you might assume that any given, say, half deck should be balanced.
Would it be reasonable, then, to expect the changing count to resemble a sine wave?
In other words if the count increased in one round could you reasonably expect it to normalize in the next? (Given a full table).
