mohegan sun 6 deck

Just as I was leaving MS (CT) recently, I noticed one of the electronic signs saying they had "6 deck and 8 deck" BJ. Since I haven't turned a card in anger for over 2 years, I've lost track of what's what up there. If their rules for 6 deck are the same as the 8, it might be an ok game. Anybody give me a short update? Thx.

6 deckers are poorly cut affairs. generally 2D + cut off. 8 deckers are cut the same, so pen is better at the 8 deckers. Rules on both are the same.
Recent article indicates that MS is installing several "MindPlay" cheating devices soon.

Its the "Dealer Performance" part of that quote that concerns me. I highly doubt they are referring to greater hands per hour...

With any luck, this will be just another fad as the CSM has been (I have seen a great reduction in the number of CSM machines in the past year or so, looks like even the ploppies have caught on)

If these Mindplay machines are so great, and "player" friendly, so that we all get "rated" better. Why haven't i seen these computers on any tables but the blackjack tables??? I could be wrong cause i have never checked the carnival tables, wastes too much time while i am tablehopping. I can't remember seeing Mindplay on the other tables, but then again why would they have to track the cards on Let It Ride....the stupidest game i have ever seen.

that use Mindplay. Was at Hilton yesterday and Mindplay is only on the bj tables. I was 99% sure, but didn't want to make an ass of myself if these types of tables were being used on carnival games also. I wonder how the carnival game players feel seeing they aren't being "rated" as well as the bj players at Hilton!!! What a bunch of crap.
