played there a few weeks ago.
in the main pit, there were two dd tables at $25-199 or maybe one was $15-199. Something about surviellance and the gaming commission for the "$199 max". Main pit rules- H17, no DAS, no RSA, no surrender. Penetration about 70-80%. No heat or indication pit was paying attention or concerned about my no cover $25-190 spread. (I figured it would save time in the dealer payout to bet $190 rather than $199 and avoid hearing the dealer call table max).
High limit pit- an empty $100-1000 and $50-1000 dd table with same rules as main pit except surrender allowed. Penetration not quite as good- about 60-70% but I wanted to get more out than $190 plus the surrender on a dd is a nice bonus.
I played the $50-1000 table, and a young pit boss was watching like a hawk. I even tried betting $100 or $200 off the top for cover. First time I whipped out 2 X $400, pit boss is on the phone. I even left out a $400 bet after the shuffle as cover. to no avail. in less than an hour, old guy in suit flat bets me.
If you are looking for longevity and can potentially play here on a regular basis- stick to the $199 max bet. No great loss to me- it is too far to drive, not worth an air fare, and not a locale I visit often for my job. still, a frustration to get busted so quick when i probably would have had no problem at the lower limits.
