I've received a $50.00 cheaper quote for a Grand Tower room at the MGM (with a requested strip view) than a premier room (with requested strip view)at the Flamingo. This is for the accomodations only, I plan to play elsewhere. I've never stayed at either place - any opinions on which I should take?
without a car I'd opt for center strip. From the Flamingo you can easily walk to all the major destinations.

But then I walk very quickly. I never took the tram when it was operating because that would seriously delay me. In any case it's close to some of my favorite playing place, i.e. Mandalay Bay, NYNY, and (especially close to) MGM.
