I am interested in investing in some ongoing professional blackjack games through individual pro players.

If any pro players would like to consider my offer I'm willing to front the initial investment money for each game. I would also offer any profit over double my investment go directly to the player.

How do you know you are not going to be ripped off? Do you know any credible pro players who can vouch for you or for your potential partners? This is an unusual way to try to find people with whom to invest, if you don't already know some people already playing who can vouch for others.

What are you saying "Skeptic", that Eric can "Somehow" scam someone or steal their money by sending them money to play for him? How does that work?

I may be wrong, but your post gives me the feeling you know little about advantage play. For instance, the statement,

This indicates your goal is to double your money. Do you have any idea how long this is expected to happen?

Here's another issue. Suppose you put up $10,000. Player wins $10,000. Are you going to let him continue to play with your initial $10,000 plus whatever winnings you have accumulated? At this point, he would be risking your money, but you would have no benefit.

For that matter, do you even know what would be fair compensation to the player until he doubles your investment?

Spend some time studying advantage play before you throw in your money. You might consider reading Blackjack Attack. It has a chapter on team play which you may find illuminating.

I received an email from Eric about a week ago saying he wanted to invest in me and/or other players. I told him that I did not need any financing and that he should try one of the blackjack forums, such as bj21.com. I am sorry if his post conveyed any type of recommendation from me. I do not know him at all and certainly don't have any basis for being able to recommend him one way or the other.

Yes, to clarify I do not know Kevin personally and was only refered to this forum by him.
