Las Vegas single deck almost extinct
Las Vegas single decks are nearly extinct. If you want to play single deck, go to Reno.
Golden Nugget, only 2 tables, and usually crowded. Playable at reasonable stakes without excessive pit harassment, at least for now, but only dealt Rule of 6.
Las Vegas Club. Several tables with decent games. If you play with skill, keep your session short.
The above are your two best stores for single deck.
Others:
Lady Luck, 1 table almost always full. Anyone with any skill gets kicked out quickly.
Four Queens, 1 table open sporadically. It's shuffled so often that the game moves at the pace of a glacier. Intolerant of any skilled play, regardless of the bet level.
El Cortez is all single deck, but dirty, and for low-rollers only. Same caveat as Lady Luck.
Western is all single deck, but it's a dump, and even red chips stand out.
Gold Spike has two single decks, open on swing shift and weekends. Only a $50 table limit, though, and same warnings as El Cortez and Western.
Fiesta Rancho has a good single deck game, but only one table, and usually crowded.
Fortune Club in Henderson just opened blackjack tables. I haven't been there yet, so I don't know the conditions. CBJN reports poor penetration.
Those are the only single decks remaining, except for the numerous 6/5 ploppy ripoff games, and Superfun 21.
