Generally where in Vegas do you guys like to play that have decent to good odds with fairly low table limits such as $5 and $10 tables.
Downtown or Strip. Large hotels or smaller ones. I've played downtown many times but the scene is changing especially on the 6/5 black jack. Your help is appreciated.

I was playing with a guy recently downtown. He had been staying on the strip and finding mostly min $25 games and felt lucky to find a 10 or 15 dollar game on the strip. He obviously didn't measure up for any comps there.
However, he sure was thrilled to get a dinner comp for he and his wife and felt like a high roller downtown. It was a classic example of another satisfied customer that didn't know his options.
Start at the nugget and include lvc, 4q's, fremont, and fitz. What's not to like? If you only play SD, then your options are even more limited so you have to act like a gambler with cover, or play for an hour max, or play DD.
It is cheap and it will pay for itself.( I just made my first LV trip about a month ago, playing red chip SD/DD and wonging on the strip. I came back with $1600)
I have stayed at the Horseshoe for about 8 years, but haven't been since last fall (i.e., before the Harrah's takeover). They had single deck games and were not very "red." I got plenty of comps and made money.
Does anyone know how they are with Harrah's now running?

Only place to play downtown is Plaza and Nugget, with Plaza having the best DD game anywhere.
I play mostly outlying area. Charlie's, Sunset and other Stations. I like the games there, as well as, the atmosphere. Charlie's doesn't have the best games but you can find one if you hit it at the right time.
Games changes often so pick up CBJN...good cards.
