KO system good enough for the serious player?

I've mastered the KO prefered system, but not the full KO. I play with red chips at the moment but want to move up to green chips. Is this a good enough count system for the serious player moving up to higher limits or should I learn a new stronger system? Should I master the full KO, even though it is not rccommened in the book?
I recently bought proffesional blackjack, and blackbelt in blackjack for info mainly but dont know if its worth it to learn a new system.

you didin`t specify what games you play. Personally, I use Hi-Lo, the only exception is SD where I use Zen( playing decisions are so much important here, ). You could master some multiple level count if you intend to play SD, otherwise stick with your KO. You`ll be mentaly sharp much longer using it and the extra hands you`ll play will outweigh the difference you`d "lost" using weaker count system. It`s just my opinion and this is the way I play (once i`m on the trip I play 8-12 hrs. a day, moving from casino to casino so I wanna stay sharp as long as possible). see BJA3 SCORE chapter for comparison of various counts in various games

The book you need to read now is Blackjack Attack. It doesn't teach how to count, but how to best use that knowledge.

I generally use Hi-Lo. But one of my fav casinos thinks they have eliminated counters by covering the discard tray. I continued playing there just estimating (guessing) how deep we were in the shoe and did okay. But I decided it was worth learning KO for this single casino.

KO isn't as powerful, but it is very good. And in this situation is a must.
