Does anybody know why this book is so expensive?
Browsed the catalog here and it's not listed so did a search at amazon and the lowest it's listed for is 64.00.
I was lucky. A fellow Greenchipper, knowing the book's worth, but wanting to keep it in "the family", recently sent me a copy in excellent condition for a very good price.
I recently purchased two copies (at seperate times) through ebay. Great deals I might add as well (around $10 each). Keep your eyes open. I was watching for those for about a year and a half.
Prices move around alot on this book...for quite a while they all seemed to be 150+ and when I finally found one for 35 I snatched it up. Since then I have found even better deals. KEEP SCOUTING!! SM
I found mine at a garage sale a few years ago. $1.00 was the price. Just sitting on a table with other stuff, my wife, daughter were riding along the highway around Gadsden Alabama in this "world's longest garage sale" that stretches from there to Kentucky, and we were just going from place to place enjoying a Sunday afternoon. Never know what you might find...
That's what I do with extra copies, including my extra copies of The Big Player. Share the info; you can't read two books at the same time.
The other was a gift.
