Won't happen...
... I believe because the gaming industry has a lot of clout and doesn't want it to happen. 2 reasons: First, such a film would tend to promote card counting and enlighten the general public that counting is an artform and a totally acceptable strategy. Second, such a film would show the paranoia of the casinos and how shabbily they treat counters. Some people might say a Uston movie would create a new wave of inexperienced wanna-be couters who would flock to Vegas for the slaughter, thus being a plus for the gaming industry. But if the film was true to life, it would show the BS we put up with and would actually discourage the masses from counting. Why learn how to be an advantage player if the casinos will do their best to stop you from playing??
I think it could be a great film with the right director and casting.
