Is this game in player's favor or not (and how much)?

Am posting for a friend who does not have access, but is a fairly serious money player. He found a game and would like to know ASAP (i.e., while he's still on the gambling trip) is this game in the players favor or not, and by what percentage?

Here are as many details as I can remember:
-Black Jack pays even money;
-You can double on anything and anytime, including more than two cards (i.e., you can double after you've taken a couple of hits;
-You can split up to 3 times and play each hand (you can also play/hit) after splitting aces;
-5 cards and under 21 pays 2-1;
-All cards dealt face up except for dealers hole card;
-You can surrender at any time, even & including after you play your hand (i.e., after you've taken some hits), (assuming you haven't busted);
-Single deck, 1 person 5 hands, 2 people 4 hands, 3 people 3 hands, 4 people 2 hands, 5 people 1 hand before reshuffling;

or something like it by another name. With a basic strategy tailored for it the house advantage is approaching 1%, I believe. The basic strategy is in the Green Chip archives, having won Post of the Month for the excellent analysis, and may also be found at the Wizard of Odds site. Purportedly, the one on the GC archives is a bit more accurate than that of the Wiz. The game is said to be beatable with the correct BS and a fairly large spread, but I have not bothered to go through the learning curve since I have plenty of playing opportunities still at traditional BJ. Looks like a fun game but haven't done it myself yet.

No, it's not in the player's favor. You're missing a few details, such as S17 or H17, but generally the house edge is over 0.90.
