Becoming More Common
Unfortunately, casinos are realizing the more bad rules they can insert and still get away with. Ploppies still play bad games, and as long as they continue to do so, bad games will exists.
I thought it was a big insult to the Vegas locals community when the Station Properties started to offer 6:5 SD. I figured the game would be unplayed and soon dead. I was wrong. Vegas doesn't always need tourists to supply the casinos with idiots, we have them living here. That game is real popular, even in Henderson. You would think that with gaming as such an integral part of the community, that the locals would know a bad bet when they see one.
Eventually, when all the rules equally suck, APs will be few and far between, and the smart ones moved on to other things. However, ploppies will continue to play suck games. If any of them ever do look for a better game, I'm sure the conversation will look like this, "...hey, this one doesn't charge a 5% commission on winnings!"
AP's, I imagine will only be left with one positive expectation game: Investing in Gaming Corporations and benefitting from the suckers that continue to play.
