a reoccuring theme in all bj books I've read so far say to seek out casinos that offer a game that is favorable,(rule variation,#of decks,penetration,etc). o.k. thats obvious, but what if you are limited to a particular casino? (no, I'm not barred, I can only do day trips,I have a wife and young children it would'nt be right). The game I can play is a 6 deck game,das,w/late surrender. If I'm correct the house advantage is .35% . The penetration seems to be about 4 decks +/-. I plan on using the red seven count. Is this game beatable?

How many tables are usually in play on weekdays / weekends? Do they usually open new tables when they get 3 or 4 people on the them or do they leave the closed tables closed while the open ones are filled to the gills.

You must realize first that this game is quite inferior with semi bad pen. Given such, you need to be more strict with NOT playing in negative EV situations. My point is that I feel you nee to develop for yourself a sort of "superstitious type table-hopping act" and Wong and back-count without causing suspicion of being a counter. Your longevity will be dependant on your act, how often you play, how many hours you play, how much you win, how well you can appear to not be winning and how you get your chips changed at the cage without being detected. If you find a dealer with better pen, you can tollerate more negative EV areas of the shoe.
