I love to hate this game sometimes

Can't believe I dumped 220 units today in one 6D shoe. My worst ever. My units are $10. The count built from the start all the way through the cut card. Most of the time the TC was between 10 and 16. I was one on one with the D. It's amazing the spread they will let you get away with when your dumping. Started the shoe with $5 and eventualy spread to two hands at $200 per hand. - - - Today I got a little burned out and quit early.

Ended the trip with a 112 unit loss. Not the first time, won't be the last. I'll be back.

In other words the session is an artificial division that you make when you decide to leave. So the absolute numbers do not mean much. If your numbers hold over a large number of sessions, this could mean that you tend to end sessions faster when you win rather when you loose. That decision however should have not effect on the outcome because as I said leaving to have a drink or going to bed and then coming back is an artificial division and not a mathematical one.

But I won 3 in a row before that. I was down like 70 then got back 50 then it hit the wall.

Let me get this right...
You were spreading to 2 X $200 and the worst you have ever lost is $2200 on a shoe? You are have either been extraordinarily lucky over your career, or you are waiting too long for your max bet, or you always play on a full table.
I have lost $3000 - $5000 many times on a shoe with that sort of max bet.

Yes, I suppose I was somewhat fortunate that it wasn't as bad as it could have been. I pushed some and won two or three and an insurance bet on both hands while having awful stiffs. Would have really been dead if I had to lose the ins bets and then have to sit on a 15 and 16 while praying for a dealer bust.

I hardly ever get much 1 on 1 play. I do a lot of wonging and I like having one other player to eat cards when I'm off the table.

I played a DD game 2 weeks ago, walked in with $3000 in my pocket, was down to $1600 in under an hour. Went back next shift, back to $1900. Last day all the way back to $2480. Going to check out the two open MS coast casinos this weekend if all goes well, but no idea whether I will even get to play or not with crowds and who knows what kinds of games they are now offering in such a limited game offering area. One day could not win on + counts, last day everything worked perfectly. Wish things were a bit "smoother" but this has been typical for me. No "smooth curve" in this game it seems... All that with a spread of $5-$40.

It is hard to decide which is "better".. big loss and then fight your way back up, or a big win, only to fight your way back down. :)
